Our 2002 awards were held in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and was hosted by the founders Rhonda Lancaster & Toni Washingtin. The late Fred Berry of What's Happening attended our 2002 award and he was very interested in what it was all about. Dee Dee Aquisto of Musiccares attended our event in 2003 and shared information with our guests she was our keynote speaker. Our 2003 awards were held in Philadelphia , Pa. at Champagne and was hosted by talk show hosts Dave Warren of WHAT radio in Philadelphia and Al Butler. Our 2004 awards were held at The African American Museum in Philadelphia and was sponsored in part by Mr. Lance Walker a previous recepient and his wife Terri Walker. It was hosted by Calvin Hughes of Channel 3 in Philadelphia. Our 2005 award was held at the spaghetti Warehouse and was hosted by Byron Scott.T.V. personality. Our 2006 event was held at Moonlight Cuisine in Philadelphia and was hosted by The founder Toni Washington and Co- founder Rhonda Lancaster. Our guest speaker was Grammy Winner Ms. Anita Mc Cloud. Our theme was combating the violence in the city, education and strong family bonds.

		Our 2001 awards were held in Philadelphia at Paradise Island and was hosted by Jaye Smith. Jay was once an on air personality in California. Our 2002 awards were held in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and was hosted by the founders Rhonda Lancaster & Toni Washingtin. In 2007 Ms. DEE DEE Sharp graced us with her presence and shared some of her experiences as an entertainer.Our 2008 awards were sponsored by Philadelphia Real Estate Broker Shirley Armstead and was held pool side our guest speaker was Shenole Latimer Sax player from New York. He spoke about the importance of knowing your business as an artist. Our 2009 Awards were held at The White Horse in Philadelphia PA. Special Thanks to Pace the owner and his staff. 2010 marks the 10th year for the awards and they will be held at Club L arose in Philadelphia PA.



		Television & Radio Appearances Our first radio interview regarding the awards took place in 2002 on the Acres of Diamond show with Dave Warren and Al Butler (WHAT) am in Philadelphia. Our second interview took place on Ms. Cox's Show in Philadelphia. In 2003 we were again on the Dave Warren show to promote the awards and the cause. In 2004 we appeared live on Channel 3 with Calvin Hughes. 2007 WURD Barbershop Talk with Woody. 2008 AND 2009 TELEVISION APPEARANCES WITH Philadelphia's Natasha Brown CBS.
